Concrete is the backbone of most of our projects, and it is the part that is hardest to fix later. Subgrade prep, base compaction, rebar or mesh, proper thickness, and control joints cut where the slab actually wants to crack — that is the difference between a slab that looks good in year one and one that still looks good in year ten.
We pour early. A morning pour gives us the working time to finish the surface properly instead of chasing a slab that is setting faster than it can be floated.
