The yard you keep meaning to build.

We specialize in residential front and backyard concrete and hardscape installations and renovations. Concrete, pavers, artificial grass and stone — installed by one crew, with the prep work underneath done properly so it still looks right in ten years.

Why it lasts

The part you never see is the part that fails.

Almost every hardscape failure traces back to something underneath — a base that was not compacted, drainage that was skipped, control joints cut in the wrong place, or a slab poured too late in the day to finish properly.

None of it is visible on the day the job is handed over. All of it decides whether you are still happy with the yard in year eight.

So we spend our time down there, where the photographs never go.

  • Excavation & compacted base

Dug to the right depth and compacted in lifts, so the ground stops moving before anything is built on it.

  • Drainage planned first

Where the water goes is decided before the first cut — retrofitting a drain means dismantling finished work.

  • Reinforcement & thickness

Rebar or mesh and a slab thickness matched to what the surface will actually carry.

  • Control joints, cut deliberately

Concrete cracks. Joints decide where — placed so the slab splits along a line you cannot see.

  • Early pours

We start at first light. A morning pour leaves time to finish the surface instead of racing it.

The Low-Maintenance Backyard

This client wanted something simple and low maintenance — no weekends lost to yard upkeep. Artificial grass and hardscape did exactly that, and it fit their needs perfectly.

How it works

Five steps, starting with a free visit.

No pressure and no charge to find out what your yard would take.

  1. 01

    Free in-home consultation

We come to the property, walk the space with you, and talk through what you actually want to use it for. No charge, and no obligation. Seeing the site in person is the only way to give you a number that means anything.

  2. 02

    Design & written estimate

You get a clear scope and a written estimate — materials, dimensions and what is included. If there is something about the site that will drive cost, like drainage or a tear-out, you hear it now rather than mid-project.

  3. 03

    Prep & the work underneath

Excavation, base compaction, drainage and reinforcement. This is the part nobody photographs and the part that decides whether the finished surface lasts. We do not shortcut it.

  4. 04

    Build & finish

Pour, set, lay and plant. Concrete gets poured early in the day so there is time to finish the surface properly. We clean up the site as we go, not just at the end.

  5. 05

    Walkthrough

We walk the finished project with you, cover how to care for it, and handle anything that is not right. The job is done when you say it is.

Questions

Before you call.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Roseville and work throughout the greater Sacramento area, including Sacramento, Folsom, Lincoln and Elk Grove. We also travel further for the right project — we have taken work as far as Stockton.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. The first step is a free in-home consultation. We come to the property, walk the space with you, and give you a written estimate at no cost and with no obligation.

Do you handle the whole project or just the concrete?

The whole project. We install concrete, pavers, flagstone, artificial grass, irrigation, drainage, planting and more, so you are not coordinating three different crews to get one yard finished.

Is artificial grass a good choice in the Sacramento Valley?

It is one of the most requested things we install. Valley summers are long and hot and water is expensive, so turf removes both the water bill and the weekly maintenance while staying green year-round. The install quality matters — the base underneath decides whether it drains properly and how long it lasts.

How long does a typical backyard project take?

It depends entirely on scope and site conditions. A straightforward patio is a different job from a full front-and-back renovation with a court, turf and drainage. We give you a realistic schedule with your written estimate rather than a number that sounds good and then slips.
